I'm trying to optimize TW3 to run good on an ASUS G75VW laptop (I think the GPU (Geforce GTX 670M) is below minimum requirements). I've got it to run at about 30 fps on the 1366x768 resolution with most settings at medium, but many things disabled altogether.
However, many of the graphics options are gibberish to me (e.g. I recall there was something like "Sharpness" or somesuch, and many others). Is there some detailed description somewhere what each graphics option does, how much more it will tax the system, and maybe how much it is supposed to improve the graphics?
I know these are mostly quite personal preferences overall which effects are important etc. (for instance, I don't really mind playing on a lower resolution, as long as it is a 16:9 resolution; also edge aliasing I might usually turn off, as it seems to usually slow the graphics down a lot for little benefit, IMHO). Then again, I like to keep e.g. texture quality as high as possible.
Just to get some kind of idea of the different options.
I was also going to ask for the lack of support for 1280x720 resolution, but I see this was already explained in the FAQ sticky...
