Hey all,

So I've noticed a problem since I got the windows 10 creators update - my mouse buttons on my logitech g502 aren't working anymore. Specifically buttons 4 + 5.

Like when I got into options and click on a key to change its shortcut and press those mouse buttons, nothing happens. They work fine outside of the game but nothing seems to be working to fix the witcher!

Anyone else encountered this and have a fix? I don't think its the Witcher, I reckon Microsoft has done something that has broken/changed this.

I also came across posts on reddit and the LoL forums about it, mostly silence mind you and I cannot seem to post any links here... enjoy the mystery of where the links might have taken you to!

I have exactly the same problem, so far I haven't found a fix for it anywhere.
This makes the gameplay impossible for me.

I share your pain! I've still not had any luck fixing it yet, but I hear rolling back the creators update is pretty easy so I might give that a shot. Also going to try disabling the game bar thing.

There is a thread on the "witcher" subreddit called "cant_use_special_mouse_keys_in_witcher_3_goty" which has some things to try though none of them really worked for me.
Fixed it temporarily

I don't which one of these worked out for me but here's what I did.

I stopped the logitech profiler. Downloaded and installed it again ( don't know if that solved anything but for completeness...).

This might have been key:
Turn off the PC, swap the mouse into a different port, restart the PC. Although when I restarted for some reason my keyboard didn't work properly so I moved that around too until it sorted itself out.

Although it seems that after a restart its borked again

Same here, same mouse buttons and add the middle mouse roller one. For me its Fallout 4 .. Creators update earlier today.
I FOUND A FIX!!!

All you have to do is go to "Device Manager" find your mouse, press update driver. There select "browse my computer" and there "Let me pick from a list of...." and select one of those, if that doesnt fix then try the other. This helped me.

Good luck!
