I am thinking about starting a new game +, but i have a question: do i need to craft my armor set again in new game +, and if yes, what's the difference between my current armor and new game + armor?

When I started a New Game+ my Geralt was still wearing his crafted gear from the previous save, and tons of other stuff carried over too.

I've never used NG+, but I read you can craft Witcher gear again, because all the previous 4 stages now exist as legendary items. So it's legendary mastercrafted with NG+ instead of just mastercrafted.

I can confirm this: I've started a new game+ with my perfect wolf gear and I've gone searching for the viper school gear, finding the legendary viper gear schemes that, even being lower in stats than my perfect wolf gear, is better than the perfect viper gear ;)
So, I can't wait to find the other legendary gear XD
