Title! Can't progress. I saved game and when i rest in tavern, beast is spawned. Load game is okay, but when i rest again, loophole. Should i rest in a far away area, not in the village? I killed cows 2 times, because they respawned BY THEMSELVES in the course of the game, i didn't do that particular exploit (for consecutive kills plus meditate next to them), yet i get that thing in my face!

How do i bypass it?

You killed cows. 'nuff said.

Does the beast also spawn if you mediate at the windmill for example? I never killed any cows so I can't check on this.
