Cloud save keep crashing my game...is anyone else having this problem?

I disabled the cloud save(and overlay), I manually backup my saves, those features are still buggy to me.

I have disabled the cloud saves too. Manual control of savefiles seems better option to me anyway.

But if you want to use the cloud saves anyway, you can contact support and tell them about the problem. They may provide better advice.

Will I still get achievements if I turn it off? It doesn't look like achievements work unless I use cloud saves?

Yes, the achievements can worrk without cloud saves, if the option it is checked in galaxy(Achivements in Features), tested myself.

as pigulici said, achievements and cloud saves are different components of Galaxy client, and they work independently of each other. You just need to have achievements turned on in the Galaxy client's settings.
