Hello everyone.
Witcher 2 spoilers.

I played this game for about 70 hours when it came out, decided to come back to it now, started a new game because I forgot what was going on and wanted to experience the beginning again.

Anyway, long story short, I imported the last manual save, instead of auto save, so I was shocked when I discovered Letho was not where I last found him, and was in fact, dead. I spared him at the end of Witcher 2, but I imported the wrong save so it thinks he's dead.

I'm around 10 hours in now and can't be bothered restarting for the 3rd time. For now I have loaded my earliest save of my first playthrough, which is a bit behind my newest one, but it should suffice.

However I would much prefer to play my current one and change the saves so Letho is alive. I have scoured the web and found nothing, so I ask, is it possible to change the save you imported mid game? Through files or a mod?

I would love to know, thank you.

That would require a save game editor. Currently none exists, so no it's not possible.

damn. I really don't like the feel of playing on my old save, do you think I should just start again and brush off those 10 or so hours? I could, but going through all the dialogue and cutscenes, even skipping them would be so boring.

If you find them boring then there is little point subjecting yourself to them. On the other hand, 10 hours now is much better than 60 hours later. Personally, I would start again.
