Hi,

I know this is a relatively old topic but it seems like the latest patches have made a lot of mods not work.
Is there a bulletproof way of changing the FOV in the game? The default FOV is way too low.
I tried using some old mods but they didn't work, or maybe I didn't install or update them properly.

Is there anyone out there who still plays this with a modded FOV?

Cheers!
Changing FOV for witcher 3 once you’re on 1.30 or later
(This works for the 1.31 goty version. It should work for non goty versions, as long as you are on the 1.30 or 1.31 patch.)
GOG wouldn't let me post links for some reason, but here are the basic instructions. If you can't find the links post back here and I can help you.

1. Install the unification patch

2. Install the fov slider mod using the author’s instructions as seen on BUT the file you use need to be the updated files. They can be found at this dropbox link:

a. The FOV slider mod requires you to install the custom localization fix, you can read about how to install it here: However, you need to use the updated version for 1.30 and later, which can be found at the same dropbox link above!

3. Run script merger in case (or if you are running other scripts.)

4. You should be able to run the game now, and you’ll find the FOV slider options in the mods submenu in the options menu. Now you can play the game without getting dizzy!
