I want to buy the elite Crossbow but I cannot get him to talk at all?? I did his quest but that is about the only time I was ever able to get a talk icon from him. Anyone have any ideas? It does not fix if I try to repair. That has no effect :(

Try leaving the area via fast travel, save your game somewhere else, load it and return to the blacksmith. If at first you don't succeed, try again. If at tenth you don't succeed, post here again and we'll try to figure something else out, but reloading your game a few times usually works for that particular bug.

I went back many hours later game time but left the area as you suggested it worked thank you ever so much
