SlyGamer79: forgot to mention i don't know how to use the gog downloader but not sure if it would matter at all.

styggron: Hello Sly
To use the GOG downloader, simply go to your library, select Witcher 3 and then select the "more" option button, there you will see "view download links"

The other way is when you are in your library and see all the files you can just click on a file yourself but this will not use the GOGdownloader so you should use your own download manager there if the files are large. I love the GOG downloader and will continue to use that while it it there and then I guess I'll have to use my own download manager.

Get the file that way and it will use the tried, tested and true GOG downloader.
Give that a shot :)

Hope it works. :)

Oh one thing with the GoG downloader, it will download all the installer so if you only wanted say part 2 you need to manually download that with a download mamanger. the GOG downloader would do the entire installer.
I have the same issue and unfortunately if you try the GOG downloader it either comes up as a blank internet page or won't connect at all..
Check that none of you witcher 3 files have .crdownload at the end (if they do it means that have not finished downloading or it crashed during download)

Check you actually have all 7 files

When you try to install choose the check file integrety option, that will tell you which files are causing problems.

Delete and re-download any files you identified problems with from the ubove steps
I'm having the same problem. I've tried pulling the files from the disc into a folder I created for each discs. That isn't working. I've tried using a different installer. It didn't work. I have also tried downloading the day 1 patch. It obviously didn't work. So now I'm stuck. I don't know what else to do in order to get it to work.
it gave me the same error again i dunno what the problem is.

If copying from disks to HDD, all files should be in the same folder, no need to split them.

Are any of you using any kind of firewall or AV software?

I'm using Avast. I'm not prompted by it to make an exception to the installer or anything. I also don't have Galaxy Installer on my computer.

this is the files i have in the attachment
and i don't have a 1/7 file but there is 2x 6's which makes me think i have it but its like part 1 and part 2 of file 6 or something
Attachments:
check the file names and sizes, the filename column should be enlarged (click and hold on the left side of the "date modified" box and move the cursor to the right, then release the mouse button)

file sizes and names should be like this

setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_2.0.0.28.exe = 26.364KB
setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_2.0.0.28-1.bin = 4.044.800KB
setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_2.0.0.28-2.bin to 5.bin = 4.147.200KB
setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_2.0.0.28-6.bin = 2.354.533KB

Why there are three copies of the 6th bin?
You should have only one in that folder. If you redownloaded this part a few times because previous files were broken, you should delete the old ones.

i deleted the extra's but whne i download the 7th file it shows 6 (1)

because 6th .bin IS the 7th file. The first one is setup.exe
1x .exe + 6x .bin -> 7 parts

you already have it ;)

The 7th file is named "setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_2.0.0.28-6.bin" (look at download link), the first file is the .exe, so the seventh file is the sixth .bin of course. You have that one already, so the systems automatically seems to rename the file. My Windows would ask me if I want to replace the existing file, though.

If you start the installation, can you check the box "verify file integration" or something like that?

SlyGamer79: had a brainfart and forgot my C drive was full so gotta redownload it to my E
Didn't catch this text of yours before...

Maybe this would be a problem, with the OS partition being to cramped for installing, like operating memory or something... just a guess. We still don't know what can cause the code 7 error, as only the tech team can answer that.
