As the topic says, i can't change my display modes from "borderless window" to "fullscreen" which makes the game run better for my machine. Just yesterday it was fine but I get on today and it's defaulted to borderless again and when I try to change it I get "keep these settings" question but it doesn't change...anyone have a fix?

That's odd that you can't hit Enter to accept the new settings.

It's a known bug that for some reason the game likes to switch you back from Fullscreen to Borderless Window mode. And if there is any kind of alt-tabbing error or any crash, it usually does it there as well. But I have never not been able to accept the change when the timer pop up comes up.

Are you:

- running with V-Sync turned on or off?
- playing on a high refresh rate monitor (like 144Hz)?
- running the latest driver for your gpu?
- running Windows7 or 8? x32 or x64?

Also, if you are using gog galaxy, do not click on anything after you click play. Otherwise it will default back to borderless.

Well dawg,I've had the same issue,as JiminyJickers pointed out,don't click any buttons,
after you've pressed the PLAY one,if you are on Galaxy Client.
If you want to be set for good, go to --->.../Documents/Witcher 3/user.settings and find FullScreenMode=
and set it to be FullScreenMode=2 ,flag it as read only,ofc remember to do it after you're done with the other options (start the game,modify all the other ones to your taste/need and then close the game to save them),most of all if you are running the E3FX mod .
Remember to remove the flag before installing any patch,cuz the game need to write/modify various lines.
