I'm kinda stuck. I use an 'azerty' keyboard and can't activate Keira's lamp in the 'Towerfull of Mice' quest. The tutorial screen dispayed a button when I got the lamp, but it doesn't work. Any ideas someone ?

Go to quick selection menu (where you select signs etc.) and lamp should be selectable there. It is activated by shooting/bomb throwing button.

Try using the middle mouse button. That is the one I used to activate it. The game automatically made the lamp my active MMB choice during that quest; it may have done the same for you.

Make sure it is equipped (open the inventory, you have to slots for "things", the lamp must be in there)

I am having the same problem. The lamp is set in the quick slot. Middle mouse button should activate it, but nothing happens. I can put the crossbow in that spot and it works fine. Is there a specific spot you have to be in, before it will activate?

Never mind. Reboot, restart the game and reload the save game, and problem fixed.

I had an issue where the lamp would work fine, but after a few encounters with monsters in the area (whereby I would switch to combat mode and back), it would stop working. I'd then just save and reload and it would work fine. I've heard other people have this same issue.

Guys I found the solution! Go to the options menu, key bindings and select a key for the "Quick Access Menu". I selected ` for it, because there it was on NONE, but after then I was able to access that menu in which I could selected the lamp! Have fun!
