Hey guys got a weird problem after have no issue playing since launch. Finished the game yesterday, got the ending i was not aiming for. So decided to start again. Through the menu inside W3, deleted my save games. When I click on new game, the video plays. I have the main menu music still playing in the background of the video and instead at the end were it supposed to zoom out to Geralt and Vessimer resting at their camp site in the game engine. I get a loading screen and in task manager the witcher has stoped responding.

I have restarted my computer, verified the files, and reinstalled c++ to no avail. I have searched and found no answer. If any one know a way around this would be great

Whoah, that is weird. Try uninstalling and re-installing again, maybe this time without the beta Galaxy client.

Yeah that what i was hoping not to do. But that what i did after my post. With only patch 1.06 and no dlc still with galaxy installed. It has started properly this time. So i my guess is that one of the lastest dlc released may have bugged my game. Just a strange that how that reared its had now

It's very possible that when you deleted all of your saved games, the folder got deleted or corrupted, causing the game to fail at the point where it auto saves (but couldn't find the folder). It's a theory, but it is possible.
