I know this just barely makes the minimum requirements, so I was wondering if there was a way I could adjust the settings so that I could get 60 fps on medium or something. If not, I would honestly rather buy this for my PS4 so that I can have a consistint 30 fps. Thanks for any help in advance!

It's too early to tell. Looking at some of the config files gives us hints an some of the video settings but till the game comes out we just don't know for sure. You may need to go with a lower resolution. But honestly no one knows yet.
u have exactly my pc specs and i hope to run medium/high 45 fps + with aa off hairworks off 1080p
since we can edit the games xml files i think we can adjust for a medium 1080p @60fps i would try to get it up here for ppl too see when the game comes out so i can share with all the ppl with similar systems

I have an i5 3470 at 3.2
with a 660ti 4g version
8 gig ram

I'm mostly worried about my processor but I'll overclock if I have to. Don't like overclocking but for this game I will if necessary. We'll see I guess.

Anyone have any thoughts on my rig running this?

Oh, and I'll be running off an SSD. Do you think that will have a significant impact on performance?

I think you are okay. To offset your CPU issue, increase AA or something that purely is a graphical option to take advantage of your otherwise powerful GPU.

A SSD will very rarely increase performance unless you run the game on such a slow harddrive that it can't follow up with the frames your GPU is trying to push out. What it will do however is increase loading times and if you don't run your OS on your SSD then make sure to use Junction Links so your saves will be saved on your SSD, that way will saving/loading should become faster too (in case your other harddrive was slow enough to make a difference of course).

I installed Witcher 2 on my new SSD a few weeks ago just to try it and I was amazed of how little it stuttered compared to my mechanical drive I used to play it on. Loading times is faster too.
