Hi,

I've been getting the game freezing too often for it to be bearable now (I can't defeat this current enemy as the game will crash before he dies, I tried 6 times now!)

What's happening is everything will freeze, I think it's usually just after I cast a spell. I can move the mouse and the camera circles around Geralt but he's frozen in time and so is everything else. I can eat food using the hot keys and change signs also.

Is there any fix yet? On the off chance I'm not in battle I can quicksave/load to fix it but I can't quicksave while in a this battle I'm about to try for the 7th time!! Does anyone else get this bug? I've googled it for ages and I don't find much.

I use the tab key to choose signs and press ALT a lot to dodge, but I image most people do? (Worried ALT+TAB makes it happen, but I can ALT+TAB out the game fine)

I have both DLC with version 1.21.

I have verified files with galaxy.

Main specs:
Windows 10 pro 64 bit
6500k at 4.5ghz
EVGA 780TI (Classified edition)
1440p resolution at 144hz screen
8gb DDR4 ram (Kingston hyper x blue)
1tb 850 evo SSD

EDIT: Just ran some monitoring at the same time as playing, I can't see any peaks in usage when the glitch happened, max CPU temp was 71c and max GPU temp was 83c (Maybe that's a bit hotter than usual) but the fps didn't stop it's just as fluid to move the camera as if the characters weren't frozen.

Fighting the foglet boss for 7 times in a row gets a bit boring..

I managed to defeat the one I was fighting as he glitched against a wall and couldn't defend itself. I felt dirty using a glitch to win a battle but it was a glitch that stopped me winning all those other times.

Since I've paid attention to it, the glitch has always happened after I cast Quen; which I have as level 3 exploding sheild?
