Hi,
I've been playing the Witcher 3 for some time now and never had any issues that affected the fun i had while playing. Until one day all grass, trees and herbs became invisible (but only in Velen and Novigrad). I haven't found anyting about it online as well. I have no idea what might cause this or why it doesn't affect Kaer Morhen and Skellige. I hope you have a solution for me.

Kind regards, hujo

1. Reboot your computer. Drivers can often be the cause of such things, and a reboot can often be required to 'fix' things.
2. Are you using Galaxy?
3. Do you have any mods installed?
Since installing Hearts of Stone I've found the whole expansion area (and some existing areas) were missing all signs of life. No NPC's, enemies, anything. Building assets are absent as well. Many towers I've discovered lack their assets as has the herbalists hut.
When encountering the Wild ones and racing the offeiri merchant everything spawned as normal but beyond that nothing.

Ran a verify/repair through Galaxy but this hasn't seemed to fix it. Idea's/similar issue to you?
It does sound a driver problem, or an anitvirus program blocking the textures from beiing loaded (that's rare but happened to me once with another game).
or the games data itself is broken but repairing it or in the worst case reinstalling (you can keep the saves) would work but you shuld check the other possiblities first.
I'll check into drivers then. Seemed strange that it was fine just a day previous before I installed Hearts.
Also it's the assets more than just the textures missing. I'll try turning off antivirus and see if that helps before I reinstall.
