namretsbol: As the topic says, i can't fast travel back to Velen.
I was in the middle of the Novigrad quests, and i thought, i leveled high enough to see what Skellige has to offer, so i went there, done a few quests, went back to Velen, no problem. Then i got to the point where i need to deliver the screenplay Priscilla wrote, and thought i'd take another detour, and went to Skellige again, to get the bear armor set, and the enhanced version aswell, so i did, played a few rounds of gwent, and tried to travel back to Velen, and i can't. Game crashes every time i try, no matter which waypoint i travel to and from.
I tried, 6 or 7 times from different points, to different points in the country, in the city, and it always crashes me to the desktop. I can go to the palace, and to White Harbor, but not to anywhere in Velen.
Is this the new patch in action, or did my savegame get corrupted somehow?

Update: tried loading a 1.03 save in Velen, loads perfectly, can travel to Skellige, but as soon as i want to go back the same crash happens.

gunsynd: Well,I think your proven it's not a corrupted save.So it has to be a bug.

I don't want to be stuck in Skellige. There's much to be done in Velen before i want to do the main quest in the islands.

gunsynd: No,the last thing I would say is re-install game as it appears a lot of others do.Sometimes save
and load fixes those sort of problems but maybe this needs a genuine fix from a patch.Sorry,
but that's all I can think of at the moment.
Q,are starting game via Galaxy?
Try game outside of Galaxy,it may do nothing but it can't hurt nothing neither.

namretsbol: Yeah, i have it installed through Galaxy, but tried separate starts too, nothing... :(
Save-loaded a lot too while trying different waypoints so i know that doesn't work. Tried checking files aswell.
It's really weird, it always kicks me out at the exact same spot in the loading animation too, i checked, so i assumed it's a corrupted asset, but then it would work at an other point on the map where it's not the same asset, or it wouldn't even load my previous save in Valen.

gunsynd: I've also noticed around the net that completing some quests is also
breaking a good game.It will eventually be fixed by patches or modders:-)

namretsbol: Yeah it's probably an unfinished quest that causes this, but since i have so many, i cannot know for sure. Guess i'll go back to my last Valen save, and try a few times to go back and forth in the future. Only lose a few hours that way. If i do continue Skellige and it's an irreversible bug, i'd be screwed more.
