Hi all,

Due to save game loss, I used a console command to give my Geralt all Gwent cards. This caused no instability with the game itself, or the expansions. I could normally play Gwent with everyone. I made multiple botched attempts at the console Gwent thing, resulting in multiple copies of cards in my inventory.

Now when I attempted to join the tourney in the Pheasantry, things got REALLY weird. At first, I obtained the basic deck and the game told me I only needed one more card to have "adequate deck strength" to join the tournament. At that time, the Pheasantry was unlocked. I went in, played the Innkeeper, won the final card and then all doors were locked, I could not exit the building.

Reloading a previous save, all doors are locked so I cannot ENTER the building.

Has anyone encountered anything similar? Is there any way to fix this (though I would assume not)?

Thank you for reading!

This is not a bug, you've (ab)used console commands. As for is it fixable, I doubt it.
OK, update in case anyone else gets this issue:

The trick (even if you've severely console bungled your game as was my case) is to work your way through the gameworld map, collecting all Skellige deck cards by beating random oppponents BEFORE you speak to Count Monnier or start the "official" tournament questline.

This way, if you only speak to Monnier AFTER collecting all 19 Skellige cards, the tournament starts and completes normally and what a marvelous side quest it is!

Actually, I can confirm this is a bug. It has nothing to do with abusing console commands.

I have NOT used any console commands in my game at all, yet I made the same mistake OP did by obtaining the basic skellige deck, and then going inside the Pheasantry to duel the innkeep for another card. After I won the card, all doors were locked, and it was impossible to get out.

Thank god I saved right before talking to the Count.
