Anyone else remove the tattoo in TW2 and imported a save with it still there?

Just now noticed the tattoo and I don't know recall seeing it before. Wonder if it's from 1.6.
Yes and no, the Beard and Hairstyle DLC loads the "with tattoo" version whenever you choose the three static beards if you use an import save where you had and removed the tattoo. If this is unrelated to the DLC, then sorry, I have no idea what to do.

Hmm. I never got around to removing the tattoo, so naturally he still has it, but I would like to run a small quest to get rid of it now. I feel he loses some credibility when talking to serious characters about solving their problems!

Well, that's the price you pay for a wild night :P

Ahh, the wild days of youth when I was slightly younger than my current nearly 100 years old!

The quest was available during The Witcher 2, you had to ask Triss for it.

I know. I actually got the quest, I just never did it, and then it was too late and I couldn't be bothered going back. I see it as Geralt living with his mistakes. Now if he only held his collar up higher... :-)
Is there a way to get it if you don't import the save? I had a lot of W2 saves, and I did not want to go through them all and import, so instead I opted for the interview at the start of the game...
*Spoiler* for Witcher 2....

All the blue stripes died in my loaded playthrough, so I liked keeping the tattoo in witcher 3 as a reminder.
