I just have two complaints:

1) The bird chic doesn't even thank the guy who hires you to help her.
That's not only cowardly, but dishonorable behaviour; this in a land that's supposed to be all about honour and virtue.
This irritated me.

2) You CAN'T talk Detlaf down; you don't even get a chance too! :-(
This pissed me off a lot!
I mean, if I picked something stupid and insensitive when trying to talk him out of the violence, ok... but we never even get the chance to try.
This sucked badly because Detlaff was a victim of the chic's manipulation.
If he was really a nice guy, like your friend says he is, you should've had a chance to talk him down!

1. Vivienne had spent practically her whole life hiding from people. This has an effect on the psyche. It is not unreasonable that she did not want to speak to Guillaume, who practically was a stalker. It's not cowardly, and not dishonourable knowing her circumstances.

2. Detlaf was not a reasonable person. Regis even tells Geralt that he is more beast than anything. That he held off as long as he did, because of Regis' influence, was quite remarkable. Remember, he is not a human being, who he sees as insignificant bugs.

Yes it was/is!

Only if...

- Geralt and testosteron, not exactly a winning combination. After my third run of the main game Geralt and Triss had been the happy pair.
Does not keep Geralt from chasing one of the main figures in B&W. True, can be avoided, but ...

- Geralt and his clothes: just to see if anything would happen/change, I/Geralt walked through Beauclair yesterday with nothing on but his underpants (would have undone these, too. Not possible, sadly).
And now: NO reaction from anybody!
Hell, went into the bank - nothing, talked to a lot of folks - nothing.

It is, btw., the same with any kind of cloth/armor in all the witcher games: when he should get some remarks walking in Oxenfurt wearing Temerian stuff, when he walks Novigrad wearing Witch hunters cloth/armor >>> all of it is being ignored, when actually this could add a lot to the game (and would be easily done).
Did not exactly piss me off, but I think it is a chance wasted.

If anything, the "missing" week between Capture_The_Castle ans Night_of_Long_fangs is what bugs me the most.. I could've actually done stuff for those several days instead of now having to leave them till after mainquest. All in all, th Vivienne and Detlaff situations are comprehendable.. just give it a bit more time and thought, you'll see thair reasons I'm sure. (I did).

Agree about the clothing though.. leaves it all to imagination)

It was quite a trip; an amazing experience overall, quirks and all.

Now that everything is being set for a full Witcher-athon ("Sorry Yen, I don't know you")...

- It's quite the thing the fact that there is such a huge, huge marvelous
world and yet, some key characters just disappear. How would the Bloody Baron receive a good bottle of White Wolf (provided he was alive that is)? So many wines, right?
That attention to detail on the several brands, but they all heal almost the same... Enchantment runes that would make different effects maybe? Or merchants at Novigrad buying them higher maybe; quite the delicacy.

After the Toussaint Experience, wouldn't Jaskier and Geralt to have a long and warm talk?
Specially with a lady such as Anna Henrietta.
How about a great bottle of Sangreal? He's such a gentleman.

Zoltan's name alone saves many lives as well, another huge deal in itself.

Skellige's gwent deck and his opinion about it would've been great. And again, a legendary binge.

Of course a sidequest, a nice, loooong sidequest to getting the characters know each other...

What would I pay to see Wizima and the swamps once again.
The Manticore Armor got me really off guard and made me fall in love with CDPR. And Skellige.


The game, the whole saga deserves unconditional respect, and has taken everything to an over-the-top interactive storytelling media.
A full month with the Witcher games and you're on for a hell of a trip.
For less than 70 bucks;
that's amazing. Keep setting standards.

It's an awesome game with 2 great expansions, all worth their money even on full price.
The story telling, characters, etc. are great. I've made several decisions I regretted afterwards. Sometimes because of the consequences, sometimes because of the reactions from NPCs.
Characters are real characters, like the bloody baron who's questline is 1 of the best. Not only in TW3, but also compared to other games. CDPR raised the bar with TW3, it's the new reference for RPGs.
The pop culture references are great. Sometimes clearly visible, sometimes less.
The world looks great. The war is clearly visible in the north. Both in the land itself as in the people. Toussaint on the other side is like a fairytale. Not to mention you can even get into a fairytale world.

A minor tip for those who haven't played B&W yet:
Make a save before doing the 'The Portrait of The Witcher As an Old Man'. The scenery you'll get to see during this quest is breath taking. You will want to replay it, just for that reason.
