i have a geforce g1 970 and i5 3570k, i was playing incredibly smooth 60 fps at 1080p with high and ultra settings,
but after installing the patch 1.08 i now have a very disturbing stuttering especially in novigrad, and even outside the cities where before i was very much amused how beautiful and smooth everything was, now it's distracting, novigrad hurts my eye now. i tried to reinstall everything, with same result. sad so sad :(

Rubarack: It's bizarre, I had the same thing and loaded up fraps. With the framerate set to unlimited it's locked to exactly 30 fps if I set anything above High. With everything on high it gets 72, but if I raise any setting it goes back to EXACTLY 30. Before 1.08 I was comfortably at 60fps with everything at ultra but now the framerate tanking is inexplicable.

mine seems back to normal, what i did was i turned off unlimited frames (which is at 60) and now everything is back to normal after playing for 3 hours now, still mostly on high, weird. but i will monitor it more in novigrad.

I figured out the exactly 30 thing (fraps was recording) but my framerates are still substantially lower in 1.08 than they were in 1.07.
