Ashmodel: I've been playing the Witcher 3 on and off for the past couple of weeks, the Galaxy page says I've played for 21h, but I don't know if that's accurate since one day after I'd had the game and been playing off and on for about a week I noticed that the number had reset to zero. But I've done a fair number of side quests, done a fair bit of the main quest and haven't unlocked a single achievement. I've looked at the achievements listed on the galaxy screen and there are several that I've certainly met the requirements for (bookworm, shrieker, bombardier, let's cook, fire in the hole, etc.) and a few others that I'm fairly sure I should have unlocked (all in, fist of the south star, armed and dangerous). And yet I have zero unlocked. I've read in other threads that if you lose connection to the GOG server at the wrong time it can keep an achievement from showing up as Galaxy doesn't yet support (or maybe will never support) earning achievements offline. But I wouldn't think that I've had connection hiccups at every single point where I should have unlocked an achievement. I was wondering if there were any methods to get it to recheck for achievements, or failing that, if anyone had any input on what could be the issue so that I can fix it so that I'll start earning them? I tried a fresh save to try and earn some the easier ones just to check and haven't had any luck that route either.
I'm sure this will invariably bring up questions like "This is such a great game, why do you need achievements?", and I want to preemptively totally agree it's a great game, I've played and loved all three of the games in the franchise, but if achievements are going to be included as a feature of the game and a feature of the Galaxy platform I'd like them to work. Something about it saying 0% every time I fire up galaxy to play this game when I know I've actually probably earned a half dozen achievements is just mildly irritated and I figure the more we share and discuss problems with the platform, the faster the platform will improve and the better it'll be for everybody.
I'm fine with no achievements, or I'm fine with tons of achievements, but I figured I'd ask.
