Hey Witchers. Can someone please confirm if having "far reaching" increases the range of Aard sweep?

I haven't tried Aard specifically, but I would expect it to stack, since the other sign alternates that I have tried do stack with their other buff tiers.
Explosive quen doesn't seem to stack with active shield though... I'd really like ot know about Aard.

I don't really know, but you could try using one of those max lvl mods and find out.

Level 2: Far-Reaching Aard

Tier 1: Increases Aard's range by 1 yard. Stamina regeneration in combat: +0.5 per second.

Tier 2: Increases Aard's range by 2 yards. Stamina regeneration in combat: +1 per second.

Tier 3: Increases Aard's range by 3 yards. Stamina regeneration in combat: +1.5 per second.

Level 3: Aard Sweep

Tier 1: Alternate Sign mode: Aard strikes all opponents in a certain radius. Knock-down chance is 21% lower. Stamina regeneration in combat: +0.5 per second.

Tier 2: Alternate Sign mode: Aard strikes all opponents in a certain radius. Knock-down chance is 17% lower. Stamina regeneration in combat: +1 per second.

Tier 3: Alternate Sign mode: Aard strikes all opponents in a certain radius. Stamina regeneration in combat: +1.5 per second.
Thanks gunsynd, but I've read those already. My issue comes from the "aard Sweep" description stating "in a certain radius", which could be interpreted as "a fixed radius".

On a positive note, after some testing, "explosive" and "active" Quen do stack, though the effectivness of the explosion seems reduced.

As a whole, it would be great if someone, or ideally the game itself, could provide some exact numbers on how the skills interract with each other. The "detailed" character stats are not too helpfull at the moment, console-minded interface or not.

I too would like some more info on the abilities -> character screen.

There is also a bug on the subset of info on the bottom right on the abilities screen. When a game is loaded, the sign intensity is not correct. It seems to multiply the mutagen bonuses by the number of skills slotted to the mutagen, but leaves out the mutagen itself. If you drag the mutagen out and back in (or just swap with an equal power mutagen), the sign intensity increases by the mutagen base value, in addition to each skill connected to it...
load: mutagen * skills
swap: mutagen + mutagen * skills
Even though I play with Aard as my main sign, it's hard to say really, because no enemy is nailed to the floor and all of them move, plus Aard itself is not 100% guaranteed knock down. However, I found a beach where drowners were quite slow and weren't reacting on my presence. Seems that range increase works.
