Anyone else downloading 17 gig right now? This makes no sense how large is this patch supposed to be?

I'm downloading the exe isntaller from the library without Galaxy and that's about 10 GB. How are you downloading it?

As Marcin has said in r/witcher "The patch is preparing the base game for the arrival of the expansion pack. It brings a lot of fixes but also introduces some new stuff as well. The HoS download itself will be rather small compared to this update."

So, this patch can be considered a little predownload of Hearts of Stone.

I also had a 16 GB download with gog galaxy. I downloaded the patch from the homepage instead which was a bit less and installed it. After launching galaxy again it automaticly starts to download those 16 gb from the beginning. This drives me nuts ...

Yup, getting that 17 Gigs download too..
Wish Galaxy would implement compression already.

This is quite harsh on my download cap :)
