Hey guys,

I was playing Witcher 3 and then saw "Unable to download the patch" from Gog Galaxy. So I left the game, to let him do his job.

Now i'm on 1.32, but cannot find any release note, what is it ?

Thanks :)
Yeah, i'm wondering myself what was patched.
Last (real) patch was in Septembre 2016 (the other one was just a sync with gog cloud save) so i'm really curious how a patch after 2 Years just size 7 Mb, I was wondering if it was used for RTX ?
"Hey,
we've added support for Simplified Chinese. We had to add Simplified Chinese strings file, update the executable and one of patch.bundle files for that.

If you had mods installed it may happen that this update resulted in game not starting. It's due to the fact that if Steam sees an update, it compares the files you have with the files on servers and overrides them if there's a difference. So your mod scripts could be overridden. If you install your mods once more the game should work, as we didn't change scripts and their relation to code.

Cheers

but that was from yesterday morning, so maybe not the same patch? Also 600 mb seems a lot for that...

On GOG I saw 7 Mb... So that's weird.
But still, good to know :)

Mine was huge, something like 630 mb. Also broke my mods, and I no longer have the installation files. ~~:( Do you know how to roll back updates on GOG? It used to be a feature but I can't find it...~~

**Edit: I figured out how to roll back patches. For anyone else in my situation. First go to the Gog galaxy icon in the top left, go to 'settings', then turn off auto-updates under I think 'features' or something(this is required for you to be able to roll back the update). Then go to the game page, view settings(and make sure to close any w3 processes that might be running). check 1.31(A) and you will roll back to the previous patch.

7mb? 641Mb for me with all expansions
I just got a 635 MB update. I got so excited by this that my Adrenalin level started spiking. :P Should have known it couldn't have been anything big. Great to see they are still supporting it on some level regardless. :)

No - they just released patch 1.32 today; everybody who has the official game, should have gotten notice to download the 1.32 patch today; my download was 600+mb; perhapsit didn't update all your files?

Well I just saw 6 Mb and go take a drink and then came back and it was downloaded.
So maybe it was 600/700 Mb, I cannot see this with my 200 Mbps connectivity :o
The game work, and it's on 1.32, so, it's good enough :)

I'm very disappointed the team still refuses to update the PC version to include HDR support...

Thanks a bunch for the tip! Not that I mind installing the update, but breaking my mods? No way in heck, not worth it.
