How to install the damn thing via GOG Galaxy? I tried multiple times on two different computers. Both have W3 Complete Edition installed. I select Redkit from my library, and it starts downloading the files (roughly 36 gigs) and then produces the "installation failed" message (after the files are downloaded).

Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. And when I download offline installer, it complains, that there's file 9 missing, even though it's there.

The same problem, it is saying something about unknown error on server side, note I have started to install Witcher Complete only after the redkit, also language chosen is different (Polish) in Witcher setup of Galaxy. Did not test offline installer.

I have the same issue. Haven't tried the offline installer but tried installation with GOG Galaxy three times and it always failed near the end.

It failed for me as well.

Possible workaround: Go to extras (on the left side of the play button) -> download the Witcher 3 REDkit -> install through exe in the folder.

It worked for me. Cheers.

Update: seems like updating is failing as well.

Same here, getting this Install fails and Uninstall fails as well.
I also tried every suggested fix nothing worked. Tried to disable installation this failed. Fortunately Australia has very strong consumer protection laws so if my submission to support isn't acted upon I will lodge a complaint. I urge other Aussies to do the same maybe that might get a response from GOG.
try to keep your installation folder/path as short as possible
Like: D/REDkit

did it for me
