LOL, he plays the game on a laptop and creates a review??!! He doesnt even qualify to be a reviewer. If you are an official reviewer you should have atleast have a good gaming PC. You just cant go blaming the devs for making the game not run well on your 10 year old plagued laptop..

Its another bad review based on bad tastes of lack of money being thrown at him. Compare it to his DA2 review and he is either a terrible gamer, reviewer or CDP did not pay him off.

Strongly disagree, I played Witcher one on a laptop and still enjoyed it greatly. To be fair to Yahtzee he actually said even on low settings the graphics were still great. But maybe, come to think of it, parts of his problems with the combat was due to slow down/frameratedrops/whatever.

Escapist probably review their stuff based on $ streamed in from publishers. They've pretty much lost credibility with me over time, cerainly a lot with the Dragon Age II 10/10 review; after seeing Yahtzee's Fallout New Vegas and Witcher 2 reviews I'm certain I won't go to Escapist anymore: in the beginning he had the novelty factor with him, but he doesn't seem to get games, and the sticky figures cartoons have grown old...

He's the alternative universe Irate Gamer. The one who somehow actually got paid for being terrible at his job.

I dunno, maybe something where he would actually have to wear a a pair of pants once in a while and get his lazy ass off the couch ? Not happening though, a guy who needs a glossary for 5 signs because they have oh-so-weird names surely goes through hell to put on a pair of pants. I mean, two legs and whatnot, it's a freaking nightmare to figure out, damn things should come with an owner's manual or something.

Or if he really wants to be a clown he should focus more on doing his homework and less on pandering to his audience. Comedians and clowns are often an inavluable source of critique, but for that they have to do their homework, otherwise they're just lazy idots working an angle. I'm just absolutely astounded at how bad he was at the game. It's like he's incapable of learning or reading directions.

Anyone who watches Yatzee for a serious review is an oblivious individual. And it's obvious that now that he does this for a living he has to review pretty much every game that comes out and still come up with bad stuff to say about it. And it's obvious from the number of incorrect statements he makes (i.e. you can't skip cutscenes) that he rushes though and doesn't put much thought in. However, he does bring up alot of valid points.

-The buttons aren't responsive, especially the block.
-Roll/dodge does almost always end up rolling you into another enemy.
-Fighting a group of enemies without Quen or bombs is suicide (I realize this is more of a personal taste issue, but I just hate how you can't really be a pure swordsman in this game.)
-The menu system is terrible.

To all the people discrediting his opinion based solely on your statements that he is a "console fanboy" are nothing more than pots calling the kettle black.

And no, Ren02, the Prince of Persia games are NOT harder than the Witcher 2.

Please tell me you're joking, I can't play prince of persia games because they require too much reflexes and timing. I'm hoping with witcher 2 that I can with leveling up properly and/or playing on easy that I can get through the game.

Yeah, leveling up is a must to survive. Just put all your points into the magic tree (specifically the Quen sign) and you will be fine.

I obviously agree with that one, the others mainly relate to playing style.

But you know what ? Hundreds of users have already pointed that flaw, in here and elesewhere, and all of them are alot more qualified than he is to point out that flaw or any other flaw in this game because they didn't stopped playing mid way throuhg Ch1, they weren't too lazy to figure out how to skip a cutscene and they managed to muster the necesary brain power to deal with 5 freaking signs without getting all confused by their little strange names. That lazyness and stick dudes sucking each other's dicks on his video rants and all the other usuall dick/cunt/tities juvenile shit jokes is pretty much all he has to offer these days.

He's a console fanboy allright, that's why he sucks so much at anything that requires a modicum ammout of preserverance or anything that doesn't come with a win button, but that's not the reason his opinion should be discarded, his lazyness and the fact that it long stopped being about the games and it's all about the hits is.
