Witcher 2 is an amazing game. The only RPG I like more than the Witcher 2 is...The original Witcher.

1. Level Cap at 35 is disappointing. Ideally I would like to see it removed all together.
2. Witcher 1 was a much longer game, with many more side quests than Witcher 2. The more the better.
3. Inventory management could use some fine tweaking. It would be great if you could sort your items by weight, price etc.
4. I thought alchemy was more fun in Witcher 1. You should also be able to sort your alchemical ingredients by type.
4. The buying/selling system can use some more sophistication. It would be nice if you could actually make good money by selling valuable items.
5. Combat responsiveness, especially when casting signs was supposedly improved with the latest patch but I think it still needs improvement.
6. The game begs for free roam after finishing the game...possibly side quests even after the game has been beaten.

Witcher 2 rocks! Though I must admit that I was expecting to see some classic characters from the original game. Shani, Vesemeir, Berenger, Adda. Importing save games from the original does not really do anything for the story in 2 either.

I would rather few excellent sidequests to the many menial ones in TW1. Things like the contracts in TW2 are so much better than that "kill x monsters" in TW1.

Oh, and I also want to see Kalkstein. If we get an expansion, I hope we can go to Vizima, to visit old friends.

KnThrak: The reason is that with a lvl35 cap - chosen on purpose I suppose - you can only buy one adrenaline ability, anyhow.
I have 2 of them (magic + sword), they activate simultaneously.

Anyway, I'm level 28 and my character is invincible on normal, so no need to remove level cap - better limit xp accumulation, especially from the main quest missions which give ~90% of xp.

thekingcasper: heres a list of things to make this into 100%.
3.Allow your character to walk around after the main missions are completed so we can do all the little side quests we didnt find/didnt do.
Yeah, that's a gamebreaker for me. I want to decide when my game is over.

Ok, all you ever want and more...Age of Conan is going free to play so hop over there and you can select your options to your hearts content!! (I don't work for Funcom..I don't play it anymore either, but my subscrip runs out in Aug 2012) Gorgeous grahics, unique combat, also no players!! Maybe they could get in cahoots with CKHPRD(whatever) and make a witcher instance!!!
What we all should be asking for (at least i do), is that they keep the realistic and cinematographic feeling of the game, which is great, awesome in chapter 1 and 2 but lacks a bit in chapter 3.

I explain myself:

I felt that losing your time with gargoyles, poker dice and arm wrestling was really out of tone in this part of the game (chapter 3) becouse Geralt is suppossed to be in a hurry to rescue Triss and the fact that he wanders the city playing dice is awkawrd. I know, you can pass and go straight to the story, but... i would have rather prefered a less sandboxed 3 chapter,(less things to do but justified inside the story), but more storybased and longer that what finally was put in the game. Ok, it not a big issue, but i seriously thought the game would have had a better climax and adrenaline rush to the player if done that way.

Another minor issue: No peasant reaction to your stealing. Please CDPROJEKT, change this.

And of course, please CDPROJEKT make a Yennefer DLC to know more about the character and the relationship with Geralt.

Consequence to the witcher fucking other woman than his "official" girlfriend might also been taken into account and affect your relationship with Triss and her feelings for the witcher.

More responsive controls, please.

Besides that, the game was wonderful. Excellent story, excellent differents paths and consquences and excelent characters. Gameplay was good and some strategy was needed in medium difficult but better IA is welcome and the score is a masterpiece . ; )
^^ wow all i seen was
"Make Chapter 3 LESS and make it more on the story"

thats what is wrong with games..there making them less and more linear...we needed more alot more random things everywhere to really give us the best experience... but as i noticed in chapter 3... u dont need to do anything u dont want to do..

i actually finished chapter 3 in like 20 minutes << i did straight away the main quests... i didnt even find a secondary that i can remember lol... so yea MORE content is better than less in everyway.

Don't get me wrong. I like when you have tons of things to do. But in chapter 3, it looked like they forced the secondary missions (playing poker, arm wrestling, gargoyle stuff) while in chapter 1 and 2, even the most secondary quest was completely coherent with the tone the game had at the time.

That doesn't happen in chapter 3. It's like if you are offered to play dice and arm wrestling before you enter the solar chamber or while you are been chased by the dragon in the prologue. It's stupid and awkward. I feel those things that way in chapter 3. Geralt is looking for Triss, this chapter should be more storyfocused and linear, just like the prologue so the game is more coherent with the sense of hurry that plunders around. You had chapter 1 and 2 to wander the places. If they are going to put meaningless secondary quest in chapter 3, i would rather go the linear route, at least it wouldn't have stripped the realistic tone of the game out of it.
Why do you have such a feel of urgency in the last chapter?
I play Geralt as simply reconnoitering the area. Which for a witcher includes the local fauna (gargoyles), of course. Arm wrestling/dice playing (although I skip that usually) is just a way of socializing and obtaining information (which you can't, but well... you could).
And after you get started on the gargoyle quest, it soon becomes evident that it is connected to the wild hunt - which is one of the prime motivations of Geralt. Therefore, completing it feels not out of place at all.

Concerning gargoyles, yes, it's connected to the Wild Hunt, but you only get to know that when you open the last chest...so, what was Geralt doing till he finds out? Wandering around...and yes, i do feel a sense of urgency. Triss is captured and you don't know how long they will retain her alive. The fact that she actually manage to remain alive is only becouse of the plot, but, again, Geralt, only knows she is danger, it's definitely a hurry situation so yes, to me, stopping to play dice is awkward. Not only the player chosing to play it, but the fact that the option is included is awkward, out of the lore and the tone of the game.

That didn't happened in any of the other chapters neither the prologue. I felt like those things were sticked into the game after they (CDPROJEKT) inserted the plot phases and realized the third chapter was even shorter than it is now. So yes, i would have prefered a more linear and longer chapter 3, (more prologue alike) instead of what we get.

You mean DLC, not expansion. No expansion pack will be released as they wouldn't be able to release it effectively for consoles.

After all, the moment its released for console is the moment you can forget about any updates or DLC being released ever again with PC in mind. I have a gut feeling about that.

I think expansions pack will be sold separatedly, like another game (well, a expansion) but cheaper. I dont see any problem with more DLC coming after console release. Consoles have internet now, you know. ;)

Uh... no. That's EA's policy :P
I'm pretty sure we'll see every DLC on all platforms released.

There was that Awakening expansion for DAO - that was a pretty big expansion that came out for PC and consoles. As a matter of fact I think that was download only for the PS3. Also there's the 2 expansions for GTA IV
