First, why not gifting it and second he doesn't need it anyway, because he gave away his (see three posts above).

No uncertainty here, when the key is shown as used, somebody redeemed it. He just didn't say thanks personally. To prevent this, it's better not to drop codes, but ask people to reply to your post if they want to have it, then send it via PM.
This is often referenced as MAHAYO here in the forum (Make A Human Answer YOu).
