does anybody know wether it is possible to run The Witcher 2 in 21:9 aspect ratio on Linux? I have an LG ULTRAWIDE 34" Monitor with an 2560 x 1080 resolution, but the Witcher 2 configuration Tool won't let me choose any resolution higher than 1920x1080.

Might be handicapped and capped by the game with no other options.

But there seems to be native widescreen support on Windows:

Can't imagine, why this should not be possible on Linux. Any ideas?

It's possible the dev's missed this,you could ask them and see if they know a workaround.

Just wanted to let you know that I have windows, and I have been unable to find a fix for 21:9 resolution as well. Through the hours of research I have put into this, it seems that there used to be fixes for this issue through widescreen fixer and flawless widescreen, but as the game got older and as it got patched, these fixes ceased to work and newer ones weren't developed. The strange thing is, when I open up the game, the launcher says that it will support a 3440x1440 resolution, but it really does nothing. It still remains in 16:9. Its a real shame since the first Witcher played in 21:9 natively with little to no issues. Just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. I too wish to play this in widescreen glory!
