I'm in chapter 2 now and i am still stuck on the witcher tree(so no alchemy or whatsoever) When do they open or do i need to put all my points into the witcher path to open it?

Tried searching the forum but couldn't find a previous topic about it, so forgive me if there has been one previously.

once you put in a certain amount of points the other trees unlock

There's your problem: As the manual says, you need to invest 6 points into Training to open up the other trees.
