So I pre-loaded Witcher 2, recently added the missing parts, and the GOG Downloader started verifying integrity and integrating, one as indicated by a green bar and another as indicated by a yellow bar. Went through what it appeared like the first disk, started the second one and hung up... no RAM activity, no HDD activity, nothing... waited and waited finally frustrated reset the machine and nothing else worked. After the reboot started the downloader again and it verified things from the beginning and went on past the point where it got hung up last time. And so the routine repeated a few times until I finally got to the end when I got the message I can install it. Install button on the downloader didn't work so I tried to install the game manually via the download folder file. Integrity check was started there again only to tell me that disks 4 and 5 are corrupt so am in the process of downloading again... am I the only one having these major issues? What is wrong with this picture?

GOG not to put you down, but maybe I should have went with Steam... at least the installation process goes well over there...

I didn't have any troubles

But I will say this..

If you mess around or download anything else or anything of the such especially on the downloader, there is a chance the GOG downloader can mess up. You just have to let it go and do its thing. Sometimes maybe that isn't enough, I don't know..It's beta for a reason. GOG isn't perfect, but they will address your concerns and work to make it better.
i had a similar problem

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/game_wont_install/post14

basically delete one of the chunk files (50,200kb) and remove the witcher from the gog downloader, re-add it from my account and it should redownload and re-combine the broken parts
the installer works in mysterious ways, ie: always in the background. Can't pull up window to check progress.

Same shit, and this is actually the second time I've downloaded the game from scratch. AND I downloaded the two separate bin files manually that it says is corrupt. WTF
I downloaded the mega part 2 days ago. I'm in work now and I can't wait the evening. I saw some downloader errors in the forums. I hope that won't be the case for me and I can play this great game this evening. I hope they will solve the downloader issues until I get back home. I waited 2 years for this release, but it's really a pain to wait few hours more to play it. Nah, I must get back to boring documents now...
I too am having problems with the installer saying the files are corrupt. Does anyone have a checksum/md5 for the correct files?
