So I'm running a pretty good PC and get moderate performance with Ubersamping in 1080p

Runs any where from 30-60 FPS depending on the area.

It looks bad when fps drops to 30, can't stand it that low.

I'm wondering if anyone can run Ubersamping at a constant 60 FPS...

Don't use normal Ubersampling. Edit your .ini file and set it to UBERSAMPLING=1 -- That sets higher textures without the higher antialiasing. It looks amazing on this.

Now 720p is a different story, I just tried it out and I get 60 FPS.

BUT... I dunno, i doesn't seem as clean looking.

god could only get 47 fps on his pc.

My box is comparable to the OP's, I think - an i7 920 OC'd to 4Ghz, and two GTX 480's in SLI. Even post patch I can't run W2 with ubersampling, it drops my FPS down into the dirt.

Really this is just about bragging rights, the game looks fantastic without it. Although I'm gonna try that tweak DigitalForce posted >_>

I tried the tweak DigitalForce posted, from what I can tell with the comparison shots I made 0 or 1 makes no difference.

In my screenshot look at the rock on the right side of the screen. Uber 2 shows the rock texture a little more blurry than Uber 1 or 0.

and UBER ON 720p just looks terrible, everything is more fuzzy including the UI.

Enabling Uber via ini seems to make my screen a lil more fuzzy, but I could be imagining things.

If you look closely at the chainmail on his lower body, on UBER 1, it makes it sharper. UBER 2, applies more AA which actually makes it look less sharp.

Uber 1 seems to look better than Uber 0. Real effect or placebo? Not sure, but I will keep it. Doesn't seem to hurt anything.

True, but between Uber 1 and 0 there is no difference in texture quality. I zoomed in on just the ground and the rock, looks exactly the same quality wise.

Like you said though, Ubersamping off appears better anyways, everything is more sharp looking, lol.
