I am not sure how to explain this but I will try,

When I pause the game on the right side of the screen this is a vertical line at the very edge of the screen when the pause screen does not cover the whole screen and the image underneath comes though.
A real word example would be when u pull down a shade and see a sliver of light between the window frame and the shade.(pause menu being the shade, light being the screen underneath)
I have seen this in other games during cutscenes where u can see a tiny silver of scene below the black bars of the scene.

I am guessing that it is my TV because no matter what I change in the NVIDIA panel it is still there,

Anyone who knows what I am talking about please let me know
Thanks!

I mostly think that is the problem. Resolution, monitor and you say TV, so I say the same. I myself are pondering questions like why supposedly 16:9 resolutions most doesn't fit in my screen. When it clearly says that my monitor is 16:9. Native is 1920X1080 it's always fine every game. 1650xsomething is almost always good. Which isn't even 16:9, well not sure, not in witcher though. And 1280x720 is perfect too in every game. So in witcher 2 I can use two resolutions without bars or that the screen goes beyond my sight. Well, that was my 2 cents.

Only 16:9 support at the moment but 4:3 should be coming next patch. 1650x1080 is 16:10 I believe so you will get bars. I've never tried it but you could give this a shot:

Others seem to have had success.

That flawless works, tried it some days ago but I think i'll wait cd red patch. Still in middle of first witcher and it seems that my computer is capable to display 1920 without huge problems. without uber and I don't like those motion blur thingies.. bloom can be on but W2 is pretty colourful game. =P
And when using flawless and if you keep motion blur on, textures begins to jump.

Edit: and my monitor is 24" so in this game if I take small resolution it seems like crap. otherwise it beats the hell out of crysis 2 but not 1. But 1650x1050 seems okay.

Edit2: well it's prettiest game I've seen in a while.

I have the same exact issue: the game fills the entire screen properly, but the menu overlay doesn't -- the image from the game comes through at both the left and top edges of the screen. I'm pretty sure this isn't a monitor problem, as the same happens in windowed mode.

Any ideas?
