Am in Vergen on the Ioreth path...having already done a Roche playthrough.

Is it possible to get into the caves where you meet Zoltan / Saskia on the Roche path? Tunnel of the Founders.

While you do get a key for the "tunnel of the founders" from the she-elf (lol) you saved, it merely opens the shortcut (and hopefully this is just an oversight).

Otherwise, no. And you can't get the Blood Sword either.

That's what was confusing me...giving me the key to that shortcut seems kind of pointless.

Well it is a shortcut. I found it useful when I was running back and forth from Vergen to the quarry/harpy nest area.

OK so maybe I'll try looking on the bright side
