A Google search, and search of this forum didn't turn up anything so I don't know if this is a bug or I'm just doing something wrong.
My issue is that wagering on Arm Wrestling in Vergen seems to be disabled. If I talk to any of the dwarves who arm wrestle and select the arm wrestling dialog, the game cuts straight to the minigame without pausing to bring up the slider to enter a wager. The minigame proceeds as normal, my opponent comments on the outcome, and no money changes hands.
I went through the whole Bring It On: Vergen sidequest without winning a single Oren. And now that it's complete I still can't make any money through arm wrestling in Vergen. Which isn't good, since arm wrestling has always been how I made most of my money in Act II.
Was arm wrestling for cash in Vergen patched out because it was such an easy way to make money, have I run into a rare bug, or am I doing something wrong?
On a side note, wagering on fist fighting and dice poker still works.
