Hey everyone!

So I've been playing the game for the past 6 hours and about 2 hours ago, right after I steal the ballista mechanism, the game won't let me save, not take out my weapon, nor cast signs, or meditate. I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to lose 2 hours of progress. Thanks!

What happens when you try?

You can't save during battle I believe. Though try "F5".

It just tells me "Can't save right now!". Normally that's a message you get during battle, but I was just simply strolling around town. F5 didn't work either.

That's odd. Off the top of my head, I'd suggest trying to leave the area so it loads new assets and try to save there. Barring that, I'd hit up thewitcher.com and see if anyone over there can help you.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up loading a previous save and so far everything seems to be okay.
