Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble installing patch 1.2. When I start up the launcher it downloads it fine, then says Patcher 1.2 is ready to be installed, but gives me no option of doing so.

In the game directory there is a file called Patcher.exe. I don't know if it's related to patch 1.2. In any case, when I try to run it, it gives me the following error message: installed game version is invalid or incomplete.

I had the exact same issue. Could not figure out how to install the patch for the life of me. Turns out you need to go to:

documents/witcher 2/downloads

and the downloaded patch is in there. Close the launcher then doubleclick the patch and you're good to go

I also had this issue. What worked for me was to right click on the desktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator", once I did this the patch then installed.
