i found the directory and moved them over to another machine, but everytime i do this, any equipped dlc gets unequipped, and, in the case of the blue combat jacket, for example, any enhancements are lost. also things in my pockets get moved back to normal inventory (not sure if they disappear). any idea why this is or how to fix?

Did you move the entire "Witcher 2" folder from documents or just the gamesaves? Also, did you install the DLC's before or after copying the saves?
