I just received the Collector Edition of Witcher 2 - awesome box and items, with a single glaring exception.

Yes, you guessed it, I'm thinking about Geralt's plaster replica.

I can't understand why did you decide to use plaster...
It's heavy AND fragile at the same time. It's so heavy it broke the inner box during transport, and so fragile it got broken during transport (smashed nose, scratched forehead and eyebrows, scratched base).
Too bad this put a black cloud over my enjoyment of this fantastic game. If only you would've used plastic, or moulded cardboard, or something stronger.

However, I have to admit it's still the best Collector Edition I bought this year. Kudos for the effort.

Thanks!
Eddie

Those are usually done from plaster as its cheap and easy to cast and yet not so cheap and crappy as plastic. It's not really problem of what it was made of as it is a problem of inadequate packaging. It should not be allowed to move in transit like it does in the CE package. Mine had some small scratches on it too, though nothing too big.
Small scratches - black smudges - and a gouge in the back......in mine.

Yes it needed better packaging ... think most that got the CE agree with that one.
