CDPR, I watched the Summer Conference just now, and even though almost everyone at work has been doing weird dances since the announcement of the Xbox 360 release of Witcher 2, it still gave me goosebumps hearing you say it.

You guys are awesome, please keep up the good work!
I appreciate the sentiment here but I'll be surprised if these folks don't try to burn you at the stake for this thread. I don't own xBox but for what it's worth I think it was a smart move to try to move to console development.
Pfft..
It has been a goal of theirs for a long time. They tried to port the original, but the deal fell through. I say congratulations to them as well.

Wonder if they do port the original to the consoles aswell?

I read an interview which indicated they are no longer interested in doing that. Moving forward.

I completely understand why devout PC gamers are upset, and I'm not going to argue that after playing the PC version one could easily see this announcement (X360 release) coming.

I see it as a step forward. I prefer getting RPG titles on my X360 and FPS titles on my PC, the reason I'm excited about this announcement is because The Witcher 2 is, in fact, an RPG. I honestly don't see why people are complaining? What exactly is wrong with the UI that makes this game unplayable, or lacking even?

I don't think it is an entirely pointless debate. I take my gaming seriously. I get bothered by things that dampen my enjoyment. But RPGers tend to be pretty...Otaku about their games.
Finally a thread that appreciates instead of whining :) +1
