gambaownsu: I simply cannot understand why cant they release a standalone patch? I mean, why do we have to go through a buggy server side patch. It's completely ridiculous.

Ok really this is ridiculious i downloaded the right patch, and it doesn't even work? I mean comon....

I'm not going to reinstall the whole game just for a patch! Fix the installer

I wasn't mad before and i've been very very patient, but this is a bit to much.... giving us a broken patch installer...

gog version could be found on the witcher 2 patch page but not anymore, they're saying us to download from gog.com but hasn't been posted yet here...

I just refreshed http://www.en.thewitcher.com/patch/ and the page has changed and the link to the itnernational patch has also changed...

Original file was Patcher_International.exe but is now Patcher1.1_International.exe

Yes tris i have. You cant have the launcher running i know that much... but after i closed the launcher and ran it it installed perfectly. video and language is now renamed to options in the launcher, had to redo my settings, etc.

Dont know.

The GOG patch installed fine. But they have not fixed the mapping of numpad keys. So remember to take a backup of your ini file, before you patch...

Ok i got the patch working i forgot to close the launcher >.>


but here's what i can stay it feel much smoother now for me. ALOT

not the mouse tho but apparently that will be fixed by ATI in their patch. have to see.

and all the DLC works (the free stuf they jsut released.)

but i have not done the mysterious merchant, finishers and i cant find the swordsman suit

The GOG patch on that site seemed to work for me. No error and it said it was successfully applied.

Same error as everyone else.


I downloaded the Troll Trouble DLC from an outside source that was posted on here a few days ago because mine didn't install. Do you think it somehow detects the DLC from not being downloaded from the launcher?
