Thought I'd make a thread for this, so we can share the references we spot.

Here's two from the prologue:

1. Behind the ballista you're supposed to capture, there's a dead body in white robes lying in a broken hay cart, which Geralt scoffs at. Assasin's Creed, anyone?

2. In the dungeon, there's a prisoner who was supposed to get tattoos on his body representing a map of the dungeon, except he screwed it up. A nod to Prison Break, it seems.

Post whatever references you find :)
I found this on the noteboard in Vergen:

They seem to be everywhere.

In Chapter 2 when you're in the war camp there is an NPC there named Proximo. He's the man in charge of setting up arena fights. Definitely a reference to Gladiator.
theres so many i cant rember them all but ive seen and heard refs to baulders gate, dragon age and diskworld
I always thought that when Geralt goes, "I'm too old for this..." that it's a reference to Lethal Weapon, but maybe that's just me.
