slurms: Deep alchemy has a few different talents that require you to be "poisoned". Does that mean I need to be under the effects of a monster's poison or does it tie into toxicity from the potions I consume? If it's the latter (I'm assuming it is) do I need to have a certain level of toxicity? Or will say, drinking one potion give me all the benefits of those talents?
It means the later. There are 3 levels of toxicity: 0-50% Normal, 50%-90% Intoxicated and 90%-100% Poisoned (not sure about the percentages, but you can see markers on the toxicity meter when drinking potions to show your level). I don't know if Intoxicated gives you Poisoned benefits, but 90%+ definitely gives. Besides, anyone who invest in alchemy will be at max Toxicity anyway, to reap all the extended effects, benefits and duration, since after unlocking +30% to bonuses and -80% to side-effects, and acquiring the taster talent, there is no reason not to.
