Can I download this game on my W10 system as well as on my Linux box after I pay GOG? Sorry but I read alot of the Linux sticky and some other posts and still not certain what the policy is.

Can anyone tell me how well this title plays - generally - under a recent Linux flavor like Mint 19 or 20 versions? Wondering if there are any standout problems.

Thank you!

Yes you can. The game is available with two sets of installers (one for Windows, and One for Linux) which you receive once you purchase the game here on GoG, which will allow you to install the game on either a Windows PC, a Linux PC or both, that you own, obviously...

As for the other part of your question, I do own the game, and use Linux too, but have still yet to play the game, unfortunately, so can't really answer that at the moment. It would still be worth getting the game though, as you do use Windows too, so if it doesn't perform well in Linux (which I very much doubt, from past experience with lots of games from here), you would still have the option to play it in Windows. But I'm sure it will perform admirably in Linux...
I use openSUSE which is not Debian based and play Wittcher 1 and 2 using wine + winetricks.

Also. I use mods from Nexus without any problems.

Skip Witcher 2 and go right to 3 (wild hunt). I played all three and, IMO, 2 sucks. I couldn't believe how bad it was.

But Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn't available for Linux (Windows only) here on GoG, as the OP was asking, and they never hinted whether they were willing to tackle running it in WINE on their Linux system.
Thank you Trooper1270, JoeAboveAverage and xtharpe. I've read good things about 2 but may buy both. Appreciate the info.

Kind of ancient now, and maybe you've bought it and played through it already. However, I played the game on my Linux system a few years ago, and everything worked well. I heard it wasn't quite so on release, but at some point they must have fixed those issues, because it worked well on my Linux Mint system.

Thankfully Witcher 3 plays well on Linux too now, but sadly there isn't a native version for it.
