This is another case of not using common sense.

You are using a medieval weapon to kill one person with a inaccurate weapon from nearly a mile away. Ok lets thought about this. Are you going to try and snipe the person with a weapon that is higly inaccurate and even then, a mile away? Gee let me think hard about this.
