Whenever I launch the w2 on full screen mode I always get the direct3d 9 device initialization error, however when I close the error message the game launches but the taskbar stays where it is, the game can be played but it's just really annoying to have the taskbar there (can't interact with it while playing btw), also whenever I run the game not in full screen I don't get the direct3d error and the game launches. I'm using an RX 480 8gb btw and the drivers are up to date, all help appreciated, thanks in advance.

In the end, he ran the game as admin and then in Windows 8 compatibility mode (he was using Windows 10).

I don't know how to solve this problem, if anyone knows, please help me, I will be very grateful to you.

ive tried both the steam and the gog version, changed every compatiblitly,n followed all tips, cant get this game to work at all, i have an r7 threadripper with a rtx 2080 card, does this thing work?
