Shut the fuck up. It’s great that it doesn’t bother you but for people who’ve gotta play it with an aspect ratio such as 4:3 the “tiny black bar” actually takes up a third of the screen and the font becomes unreadable.

But seriously, how can you still be using 4:3? It's like someone complaining a new console game looks like shit on their gameboy. PCs are awesome because they're so backwards compatible, but there's a limit which rational people recognise. If it's such a big deal to you skip a couple of pizzas and buy a new monitor rather than mouthing off at random people.

The combat log is useless because of this.

I agree.. The combat log is totally useless. In my opinion, it would much better they have a character screen showings how much damage Geralt inflict (DPS), his resistance, his chance for 1-hit kill, bleed, incinerate, poison, etc.

Due to the pace of the combat, the combat log honestly really not needed in my opinion. If they were to show damage on top of the monsters/enemies .. it will kind of look weird. but i would certainly appreciate if there's floating text like 'Double Damage!' and 'Critical!"..

Because you have both high horizontal and vertical resolution which is good for running multiple pieces of software/documents for development.

Additionally some of us still use CRTs since they have superior image quality at varying resolutions and have better/proper color response and contrast. A good CRT can be calibrated to produce the exact same image you would see in a photograph or print, which is especially important for people that deal with a lot of graphics software/editing.

I'm seriously losing patience here.. when are we expecting any update on when the patch will be released? At least a date other than keep the fans hanging?

CDPR please show the PC community that you have not abandoned us and your advertising for PC support was not short-lived.

I'm never ever gonna preorder or buy CDPR's games new from now on.

It's July and I still haven't played the damn game because I'm getting piss poor performance on a high end PC. And I heard rumors that patch 1.3 might not come before August.

This is absurd. I regret buying the game from GOG because I originally wanted to support these "awesome devs". I might as well have waited till next month and bought the game cheap since the support for this game is non existent.

But hey, since they already got our money, now they can fully focus on the console version and fix the PC version sometime later.

I hope that CDPR do not forget who are the core audiences that supported them.

I hear you. I've also pre-ordered the game on GOG but have stopped playing it fairly quickly and hardly looked at it again since then.

However, I'm not blaming the developers. It was my decision after all to buy the game in advance and get it on day one, even though I'm totally aware of the fact that most games need patching nowadays and that it's always better to wait than to buy on day one.

What I did though is that I recommended a friend of mine to not buy the game yet. Don't want anyone else to make the same “mistake” I did.
