Well I have just started chapter 1 and it is telling me thatI am carrying too much weight. Does this just mean that your speed is reduced? Is there anywhere I can sell my crap or do I have to wait until I am in Flotsam?

you can drop items in the inventory screen click 'i' on the keyboard and then drag the unwanted item(s) to the drop item slot in the bottom middle of the screen. hope that helps.

Sadly, one has to save the son in the prologue if you want an extra 50 weight carry capacity.

You'll also reach Flotsam very, very, very early in the chapter. So don't even bother dropping items.

oh didn't know you could save him. I tried to get him to surrrender but he wouldn't.
