While I appreciate the fact that lots of people are having problems with the game (and please note it is the day of release - it takes a lot of users playing on many many many different machines before all the bugs can be sorted out), but in the midst of all these problems I would just like to say a huge thanks to everyone behind The Witcher 2. I had no trouble pre-downloading, installing and playing the first hour of the game.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, and no doubt I will encounter some sort of problem down the line, be it minor or major, but for now I am playing the game on high settings with no problems whatsoever.

I'm not saying this to annoy the people who are having problems - I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a new game, pay for it and then have trouble playing - so please don't think I am gloating over the fact that I can play it. I simply wish to express my thanks for an excellent game, revisiting characters that I have loved since the Andrzej Sapkowski books.

If it helps - I'm now stuck at work so can't play it any more until later. =/
