Ok so, at least now the sound actually WORKS with Logitech G35s (and I assume, other 7.1 USB headsets) but if I alt-tab out and back in again, sounds have vanished. Ambient birds, certain GUI sounds like clicking on stuff, etc. Voices still work, sword noises, etc, but a lot of sounds have gone. Obviously, don't alt tab, but still, this should be fixed...

I'm using the G930 - wireless g35 - and i've not run into this problem... Not saying it wont happen, but I'm sure i alt- tab'd while finally using its nice 7.1 mode with witcher 2.

This would be a bit discouraging - i'm really enjoying the working surround sound in the 'phones.

Doesn't happen every time I alt-tab, but it does happen. Definitely not as serious an issue as "My logitech G35 doesn't WORK" but still.

So don't alt-tab. Problem solved.

Sure, that's one solution. But I thought I'd report the issue regardless.
